10 July open forum – clean air, clean energy
We’re holding an open forum about clean air and clean energy at the Thame Town Hall Upper Chamber on the evening of Wednesday 10 July at 7pm. This is a vital next step in the development of Thame’s Green Living Plan and it’s your chance to make a direct contribution to the town’s future well-being.
The evening is devoted to two key environmental topics from the Green Living Plan. The first is clean air: how much do we really understand and value this, and what causes the pollution that makes us ill and adds to greenhouse gases? The second is clean energy: how can greater use of renewable energy help us reduce the harmful effects of polluting fossil fuels?
Tackling these issues involves some tough choices, which is why we need your views. We’d like to know how far and how fast you believe we need to go locally, and how much Thame should lead the way.
After a short introduction and questions, we’ll use a workshop approach where everyone will have the chance to register their views (or tell us what information they’re missing, if they don’t feel able to).
It would be helpful if you could let us know if you’re planning to attend by emailing Anne Fisher firstname.lastname@example.org. If you can’t let us know in advance, don’t be put off! You’re welcome to turn up unannounced.
If you have any questions or you’d like to know more about Thame Green Living or the Green Living Plan, join us in the Thame Green Living Facebook group.
We look forward to seeing on the 10 July for a vital discussion!
