NEXT REPAIR CAFE Saturday 17th September 2pm to 4pm at Racquets Fitness Centre
Following a post by Thame Green Living on social media talking about how great Repair Cafes along the lines of https://www.repaircafe.org/en/ are for the environment a team from 21st Century Thame has taken up the challenge.
The first Thame Repair Cafe took place on Saturday 21st May at Racquets Fitness Centre from 1pm to 4pm and was a great success.
The cafe is being run under the umbrella organisation of 21st Century Thame by a small team of volunteers who have gone out and found a number of volunteer repairers and a venue!
The Repair Cafe ticks off a number of actions mentioned in the Thame Green Living Plan – notably Section 5.2 – although the implementation is slightly different to the action in the plan.

We really need a few more repairers and the more variety of skills we can gather together the more successful the cafe will be.
The Repair Cafe will be a great opportunity to come along and meet other like minded people and have a coffee and a chat too.
